How are specimens transported to your laboratory?
Our courier makes onsite visits to physicians' offices in Topeka, Kansas. We provide prepaid FedEx courier services for physicians with offices beyond our local area.

How do I obtain secimen supplies, consultation request forms, and FedEx supplies?Please call our toll free numbers for the establishment of an account. We provide requisitions and FedEx airbills which are customized for your office. Prefilled wide mouth screw cap formalin specimen bottles, specimen labels, formalin absorbent pads, dual pouch biohazard bags, Michel's medium for cutaneous immunofluorescence, transport boxes, and FedEx Diagnostic Specimen Envelopes are provided.

Do you offer a slide consultation service for second opinion?This service is provided. Please forward the slides and previous dermatopathology reports with the request. If possible, please forward the paraffin blocks or the contact information specifying the laboratory which has the paraffin blocks to facilitate performance of special stains, if indicated.

Do you offer gross examination and slide preparation technical services for referring Dermatologists?Yes, this service is available. Please call our toll free telephone number for additional information.

Do you offer client billing?We offer client billing with respect to technical slide preparation. For all other services, our policy is to directly bill the patient or their health insurance using a competitive fee schedule.

What are your office hours?8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday and 9:30 AM to 12 Noon Saturday, Central Time. Closed on Sundays.
